Who we are
About Zero Hour Moving
Most moving stress comes from not knowing: what it will cost, whether the crew will show up, whether the sofa will survive. Zero Hour Moving was built to remove that uncertainty.
You get a written quote before you book, a crew that arrives in the window we promised, furniture that is wrapped and strapped the same way every time, and one coordinator who answers the phone from the first call to the last box.
We serve every city, town and township in Ontario and run scheduled long-distance routes to British Columbia, Alberta, the Prairies, Quebec and the Maritimes. Whether you are moving a studio across town or a family home across the country, the process, the people and the standard are the same.

Company FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Moving comes with a lot of details, and we would rather you know the answers before you book. These are the questions we hear most often; if yours is not here, call us and a coordinator will walk you through it.
How much does it cost to hire movers in Ontario?
Local moves are billed by the hour for the crew and truck plus a flat travel fee, and long-distance moves are quoted as a fixed price based on volume and distance. The size of your home, the access at both ends, the date and any packing or specialty items all shape the total. Every quote is free and written.
How far in advance should I book a moving company?
As early as you can for month-end, summer weekends and long-distance dates, since those fill up first. We keep crews in reserve for last-minute and same-day moves, so call even if your date is tomorrow.
What is included when I book Zero Hour Moving?
Trained movers, a clean equipped truck, moving blankets, stretch film, dollies, straps, floor protection, furniture disassembly and reassembly, appliance handling and basic liability coverage. Packing, storage and full-value protection are optional extras.
Do you move between provinces?
Yes. We run scheduled long-distance routes from Ontario to British Columbia, Alberta, the Prairies, Quebec and the Maritimes, with a fixed price and a confirmed delivery window before you book.
Can you move a single heavy item like a piano or a fridge?
Yes. Single-item moves are quoted as a simple flat rate, and pianos and pool tables are handled by specialty crews with the right equipment, including disassembly, reassembly and levelling.
Are you insured, and what if something is damaged?
Yes. We carry commercial liability and cargo insurance, and basic coverage is included on every move. Note any issue on the inventory before the crew leaves and submit a written claim promptly; we resolve claims quickly.
Do you provide packing materials and packing services?
Yes. Boxes, wardrobe cartons, dish packs and paper can be delivered ahead of your move, or our packers can pack your whole home with every material included.
Which areas do you serve?
Every city, town and township in Ontario, each with its own page of local moving advice, plus long-distance moves to every Canadian province.
